Thomas and Lizzie Frewen Ryan mid 1800s

My grandfather, Jeremiah Ryan, was born in Limerick to Lizzie Frewen and Thomas Ryan in 1857 according to his marriage and death records. He emigrated to the United States as a young man, worked in the Chicago stockyards (perhaps for a relative) and made his way west working on the installation of telegraph lines. He settled in the Deer Lodge Valley, Montana, where he raised cattle and horses and was naturalized in 1892. In 1898 he married Katherine Martin Coverdale (widow) of County Antrim and raised her son, John Coverdale, as his own. Together they had six more children: Thomas, Elizabeth, Alice, Jeremiah, Patrick and Joseph. All are now deceased.

My name is Helen Ryan Christensen, daughter of Pat Ryan. This is all the information I have about my grandfather’s background. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.
