I have a possible connection. I have a Mary FREW born in Dreghorn in 1868. Her parents were John FREW and Mary McLELLAND. Which makes her 30 when your grandmother was born. There is another, in terms of age. She is Mary FREW, born in Irvine (2 miles from Dreghorn)in 1879. Her parents were James FREW and Janet GIRVAN. If you think any of these may be the right family let me know as I have some more information.
