If i´m related to the sculptor H.E.Freund? My Grandfather told me that we were, but that was when i was a child and i can´t ask him now! I can´t find the connection.
I know alot about H.E.Freund, I have 2 books about him, in danish. In Copenhagen there is a street called after him -
Freundgade =Freundstreet. :0)
He had a daughter who died a child and a son Adolph Victor Freund. Maybe you know if he had children??
H.E.F. had a nephew, Georg Christian Freund, who was also a sculptor in Denmark, do you know anything about him??
Your Grandmother Anna Hedwig Freund, where was she born? Her name sounds danish?
The oldest i have found so far in my family is Jørgen Johansen Freund married to Ane Jensen in Mølholm mølle,Vejle amt(county)jutland Dk in 1821????? They had 2 sons Johan Freund married Maren Sophie Pedersen, they had a son,Jørgen Johansen Freund(like his grandfather) born 1872.
The 2. son (my greatgreatgrandfather) Jens Christian Jørgensen Freund, born 1848 in Vejle amt, married to Caroline Rasmine Augustinussen (his 3. wife)there son Karlo Freund born 1899 is my greatgrandfather...........!
Confused...? I hope not. Maybe you can use it for something. But i would like to know everything you know.. :0)
