Howdy "Cousin ???" Jorgen:
Are you related to the sculptor and artist, Hermann Freund? I have a great amount of information on this line. Hermann Freund was a German but changed his citizenship to Danish. He was born 1787 in Uthlede, Germany and died 1840 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
This line of Freunds were born in northwest Germany in towns like Eime, Uthlede, Wersabe, and married wonmen with surnames like von Würden, Meyer, Gerhcke, Friese. Those that moved to Denmark settled in Copenhagen.
I can not match any of the names you cited, but believe we are talking about the same genealogy line. Mine are in the 1670 - 1850 period before coming to America.
If you can give more data, perhaps I can make a match.
Best regards from the Rocky Mountains about 8,000 miles from Denmark.
Cordially,
"Doc" (Donald E. Wuerz, my grandmother was Anna Hedwig Freund, 1868-1952, the first generation born in the USA).
