Hi Adam,
Matilda with red hair? That would probably be my grandfather's older sister? My grandmother Josephine and aunt Constance used to talk about Matilda with the red hair!My grandfather was Arthur Frenette. His family (I believe that means his parents) were from Canada.I do not know which province. As far as I know he was born in Waterbury.I called my father for information about our family.I will pass it on to you.
My father is Jean William Frenette Senior of Farmington, CT.I live nearby in Simsbury, CT.I'll included information about my cousins, siblings and offspring.Later!
Sincerely,
Jean Frenette
BTWWhich part of France did the Frenettes come from?I know my grandmother Josephine's (Peirson?) family was from
Alsace, Lorraine region. Also, I was reading about the new genetic test that can be used to see commonality of genetic markers to how closely related we are to relatives here and in Europe.Cool!
