Laura M. Watson, wife of Jacob Watson and daughter or Jonathan B. French, of Floyd, died in the town of Rome, Oneida Co., N.Y., Dec. 23d, 1850, in the 31st year of her age.
During the last eight years of her life she was a professed follower of the meek and lowly Jesus. But through most of her illness of eight weeks continuance, she felt reluctant to die. The thought of leaving her children motherless, to the tender mercies of a friendless world, was too great an obstacle for her faith to surmount. But she gained the victory at last, and died with the praises of Jesus upon her lips.

I have yet to find information about their children.
