Samuel Tilton French born 19 June 1846 Loudon Merrimack County NH.died 29 March 1929 Litchfield Montgomery County Illinois, married Belle Leonard (date unknown) His obituary says "little is known about the family,and stated "its believed a daughter lives in Denver Colo."(no mention of her name) His death cert. says he was divorced from Belle Leonard, he was the son of Hiram and Lydia Walcot (Bachelder) French of Pittsfield NH. and his siblings were Olive E.L.(French) Moore-Clough, Henry A.L.French Lieut.Co.F.12th NH,who married Sarah Angie Clough, Claire A.(French) Greene,(she lived Decatur IL.)
