The dates, names and places of residence are certainly cloes to my French family.

We have a Peter French born 1785 per KY 1810 census, married to Nancy Hanks French. There were sure to be brothers? We think he is the fater of Andrew Jackson, Wm Lewis, George, James, there is one son missing and three daughters missing. These children have KY listed as the place of birth per 1850 KY census.

There was a period of time that state boundaries changed, some things may be listed as SC, could also be the then state of Franklin, Tenn, KY, or Illinois Territory.

Andrew Jackson married Nancy Hardin in Illinois per Illinois marriage records in Nov 12, 1845, but they were in the KY 1850 Breckinridge census, they have a son by the name of John French, He also had a son Daniel Rawling French that went to Cooke County Texas and raised a family. Andrew died from a gun shot, in a Civil War conflict between men in Gentryville, MO Nov. 16, 1861.

We also have others French relatives that went to Cooke Co. Tx from Gentry Co. MO area. One has the name of John French.

I can't connect your line, but it sure looks like the traveled and lived in the same places. KY, and TX.
