Iam looking for any information on William French who married Polly Tabor 4 July 1843 in Fairfax, VT. both were born there. Polly died in 26, Oct., 1850. She is buried in Mudgett Cemetery, Fairfax, Vt. There is a Albina French who was born 1844. Died 1860. They may had been out to Fond Du Lac, Wisconisn Abigail French was born there. Other than some loose information. I have not been able to find just what happen to William French and where he went or is buried after Polly died. There seemed to had been a great deal of people that headed out to Wisconsin once the Eire Cannel was open. Others from that part of Vermont left and then came back.
