Scott, I'm sorry to say that there's no McCollom/McCollum/McCallum listed in my French Family reference source index; Of course there were 15 "Eunice" FRENCHes (I think I looked up each one!),,,they appear to be mostly in/of Conn., Mass., and New York; But unless I've inadvertantly overlooked something, I didn't see a possible connection for you on any of them.It seems that each of 'um was either born too early, died too early, or was born too late to have a 1782 marriage.
Your Eunice French may be of a French line that isn't covered in my book.This is just a thought, but Perhaps you'd want to post a new inquiry using "EUNICE FRENCH/JAMES McCOLLUM m. NY 1782" as the SUBJ. -- Maybe the names/date/location would be more apt to catch the eye of someone who's familiar with those names and could be of more help to you.Sorry that I couldn't find you a match-up, Scott, but Best of Luck to you.
