Hi, I'm Meghan Frieburger and I'm from Bruce Co., Ontario. I'm working on an extended family tree to give my family for christmas next year...or the year after (whenever I find enough information). The farthest back that my grandparents could help me with was Andrew Freiburger also known as Foxie. His wife was Mary Sadlo and they had 5 sons and 3 daughters: Joesoph, Andrew Jr., Jake, Martin, Sigmund, Ida (Caskanette), Annie (Foresyth), and Pauline (Bennamin). I only know information on the generations to come of Joesoph (who is my great grandfather) and Andrew Jr.
I didn’t think that Sigmund was that popular of a name so I thought it wouldn’t be hard to track down, but apparently I was wrong. You said that the Sigmund Freiburger you know of was born in 1803, but the 2 other Sigmund Freiburgers I found have some conflicting information, unless the name is passed down from generation to generation. One was born in 1872 and married Everenne Morell, and his parents names were Peter Freiburger and Mary Hund. The only thing I can find on the other one was that he had a son born in Waterloo in 1881 and a daughter born in Wilmot in 1887.
I was just wondering if you know where any of these Sigmunds are on the line? Or if you have any other information for me, Thanks Meghan
