I would be greatly interested in getting information on Rev. John Freetly. I am doing the "genealogy" of my grandparents house/farm. I do not of as yet know when the house was built. Part of the genealogy of the house is going to be a history of the lives and genealogy who owned the land or house. I should probably mention that their house is located in Gladstone in Henderson County Illinois. John Freetly owned the land ( I don't know if the house was there already or not) from 1843 until 1854. There were not very many Freetly's in the county. As I understand it one John Freetly in the area was a Reverend. Given the time era and name he is probably one in the same with mine. Any information about him or his family that you would be willing to share would be greatly appreciated. I am right now awaiting a response to a lookup I sent in about a short biography on Rev. John Freetly that was in a history of Henderson County book. You can email me at [email protected]
Thanks Kassie Rice
