My Daughter in Law is Trisha Allyn Freetly Clegg and I have done considerable research on the Freetly Family trying to document what has been given to me. John M Freetly was born April 1874 in Lawrence Co. IL, md Ella Vollmer abt 1897 in Warren Twnship, Carroll Cty, Iowa. Sorry no sources yet.You may have more on this than I do. I have James Harvey Freetly born Nov 6, 1848 in Henderson Co. Il. Died 24 Feb 1929 in Calhoun Co., Lake City, Iowa. Burial in Lake City Cemetery, lake City. Md. Mary E. Conner 24 April 1872 in Lee Co., Ill. This info from "History of Carroll County, 1912". Attented schools in Lee County and DeKalb, Il. Besides 1880 census of Carroll Co, Warren Twnshp, I found them on the 1900 census, for same co & township. Your James is the Brother of Joseph Elbert Freetly who is my Daughter in Laws gg grandfather. Their Father is Rev. John L. Freetly who md Mary Robbins. If you need any of this info please let me know. Happy hunting.
Dede
