FREESE might = DRIES>TREES>TREECE

If you are a FREESE/FREECE/FRESS descendant, you might want to check out the family who resided in Berks Co., PA during the 1700's and later.

It appears one Michael FREES migrated from Berks Co., PA to Ross Co., OH, possibly through Northumberland Co., PA/Snyder Co., PA.

If you find that you are a descendant of John FREESE (of Delaware Co., OH) or his siblings, and you find that the DRIES family is your immigrant family, please contact me.

I can take no credit for this as "cousin" Ken WARDELL has made the many trips to various libraries and archives in search of our family. His efforts have led me in this direction.

Please let us know what you find and we'll be happy to share what few documents have led us to this point. We need more PROOF, and then we need to fine-tune the line.
