I have a William Tammen in my family tree who had a son Reiner. Are you referring to the Tammens that lived in Texas in the late 1800s and early 1900s? My gggrandfather, William Rhinehart Decker,had a sister Haukewina who was married to William Tammen. William and Haukewina Decker's mother was Amke Freese. They were all from Germany.
