I have in my medal collection a first World War Medal awarded to Private Edward Freer Of the East Yorkshire Regiment. The medal is The Military Medal for Bravery. As part of my hobby is taken up with researching the background of the soldiers the medals were awarded to I would be grateful for any help from the Freer fraternity. The only information I have at present is that Edward Freer came from Oughtbridge which I understand is in Sheffield, England. Regards & Thankyou.
