A new line of research I'm starting is on a family from Kent, England. It is believed that 3 ancestors from a particular Kent family left for Australia c1800s. I have no actual dates yet, nor first names, but, as it is a comparitively rare/unusual name, I'm interested in any and all incidences of this Surname in Australia, and would be grateful for any assistance.

I'm also of the belief there are a number of people in the U.S.A. with this surname and would be similarly interested in any and all information leading back to Kent, England.

I believe they all originate from one family.

Thanks,

James
(in a blustery North of Scotland).
