January 6, 1930
Funeral services were held yesterday for LEWIS FREEMAN, 65, who died Sunday at his home at Converse . The Rev. Carl Page officated ; interment was in the Cannons Camp Ground Methodist Churchyard.
MR. FREEMAN is survived by his widow, MRS. ELLA FREEMAN; 5 sons, ELMER of Union, CLYDE of Cramerton, N.C., ELFORD, ANDREW and HOWARD FREEMAN of Converse; 2 daughters, MRS. W.C. GOSSETT, of Spartanburg, and MISS LILLIE FREEMAN of Converse ; 2 brothers, J.B. FREEMAN of Glendale and T.C. FREEMAN of Pacolet Mills; 3 sisters, MRS. R.F. DANIEL of Spartanburg, MRS. T.G. LAWSON of Inman, and MRS. JOHN MONTJOY of Laurens.
