Hi Freemans,
Looking for info on my 5th great-grandmother, Jerusha Freeman, probably born ABT 1735-1745. Would appreciate any leads or info - especially interested in finding her date and place of birth and her parents.

Thanks in advance!
Rebecca Sanborn

Info:

Jerusha Freeman
b. EST 1735-1745, poss. Falmouth, Cumberland, ME
d. Feb 1825, prob. Hiram, Oxford, ME (or nearby)

m. aft. 21 Nov 1760*
James Fly
b. 27 Sep 1741, Scarborough, Cumberland, ME
d. Hiram, Oxford, ME

James and Jerusha had at least three children:
Dorcas Fly (1773-1850), m. Joseph Dyer II
James Freeman Fly (1775-?), m. Eunice Clemens
Hannah Fly (1762-?), m. John Hartford (my line)

*21 Nov 1760 listed as date of marriage intention in Records of Town of Falmouth, reported in NEHGR. In that record, James Fly is "of Scarboro'" and Jerusha Freeman is "of Falmouth."
