Everything must be taken with a grain of salt and followed up through as many unrealated sources as possible--to avoid getting the same information source simply repeated. One source I found had this Hez Boone married to a ? Lincoln (this could have been a first wife??).The Boone and Lincoln families inter-married several times through the generations.I and my son have gone to various related surnames in our trees and found Hez married to Rebecca in the Rainbolt tree, the Strauser tree, and Wells tree.I've also checked out the Woodford Co., KY Historic Society (where Hez and Rebecca are buried) and the census info. It's not easy but the "hunt" is challenging. One of the things that has been so flustrating, is it seems that as each child of the family married, they were given a list of Family approve names, and told that their children were to be named from this list. Thus every cousin had the same name as one of their Aunts or Uncles.I've found this very hard in the Silvers tree, as they did this for 4 generations with 8 to 15 kids per family member!!By the way the Silvers and Boones in 1759, fought side by side in the French and Indian War.These two lines for my tree joined in 1912.I hope you enjoy finding the past.I've been amazed at how many "tree lines" seem to flow side by side--unknown to each other--and then merge. One thing, if you're lucky and have places where each child was born, you can trace the migration of the family, and find other places to look for info.
