Deb,
Have been researching my wife's family tree. Her ancestors changed their names from Fredericks to Adams and live in Lunenburg County Nova Scotia.
My research goes back to about 1759, unfortunately no mention of Antoine.
The first record that I could find lists George Fredericks and wife Margaret Robart. they had children Jacob and George.
Jacob married Catherine Guest and George married her sister Sarah Ann Guest.
I do have other records if they are of any use to you.
