MRS. ALBINA S. FERGUSON, daughter of EDWARD and SARAH ZUCK, was born January 3l, l849, in Joe Davies County, Illinois, and died at the home of her granddaughter, MRS. GRANT GRAHAM, at Davis City, Iowa, January 30, l925; aged 75 years, ll months and 29 days. She spent her early life in Illinois, and was married to HENRY JAMES FERGUSON in l865. Two daughters were born to them, LUCY HELEN and LETTIE IRENE. In l869, the family came by immigrant wagon from their Illinois home to Davis City and lived a while north of Lamoni, later moving to a farm 2 l/2 miles west of Davis City, where MR. FERGUSON lived for over 40 years.

The eldest daughter, LUCY HELEN SUTHERLIN, died May l2, l897, leaving three children, RAY, HAZEL and CECIL, to the care of their father and grandparents. MR. FERGUSON died June 9, l905. CECIL and her grandmother continued on the farm until a few years ago when they moved to Davis City. Their devotion for each other was almost unsurpassed and association very close. MRS. FERGUSON leaves of the immediate family, one daughter, MRS. LETTIE IRENE FREDERIC, of Shawnee, Okla., who came to help care for her during the last illness; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and the son-in-law, FRANK SUTHERLIN. MRS. FERGUSON will be greatly missed in the home, she was faithful, good and kind and to the community a hospitable and generous neighbor.

The funeral services were held at the M.E. Chapel in Davis City at 2 p.m., January 3l, conducted by Wm. J. Campbell, assisted by J.C. Clark. The body was laid to rest in the Lily Cemetery, two and one-half miles north of Lamoni. The floral offerings were beautiful.
