Sheryl,

I found the parents for Catherine Laforest as Guillaume LaForest and Genevieve A. Fauvel. I have catherines birthdate as 14 DEC 1773 at Ild de Montreal or Fox Creek Gr Pt, Wayne, Michigan or Detroit, Michigan.

As for Francois Berard. I found him listed as Francis Bernard dit Lepine, parents bein Louis Bernard dit Lepine and Marie Roy.

I have seen the marriage for Catherine and Francois at either Windsor and Essex Ontario.
