Thank you very, very much. I had the names, but not the date. Do you have any idea who either or both of their parents might be? Their marriage is way far from Quebec - isn't Essex in Western Ontario? - and in that case I won't be able to trace them through the Drouin. I will try though (but I'm actually in eastern Ontario right now taking care of my Mom, really far from Essex, and I won't be back in Montreal to check the Drouin until September).

And if I can help you in anyway, I will. I live in Montreal, a short walk from the French-Canadian genealogical society library and am willing to look stuff up for people.
