Noe's father was Pierre Frechette (Jr) (n: St. Gabriel? date?)
Pierre (Jr)'s parents:
Pierre Frechette (Sr), vers 1793, Beauport?
(P: Joseph Frechette m. 8 jan 1787 to Marie-Charlotte Gadoury)
Pierre (Sr) m 16 jan 1826 Ste-Elisabeth-de-Joliett to Julie Auger
(P: Charles Auger n 22 sept 1775 Neuville, m 27 sept 1801 at Berthier to Archange Goulet).
I seek to confirm the name of Noe's mother, i.e. Pierre (Jr)'s wife (and the names of her parents if possible). Noe's death certificate says mother was Julie Gerard (prob. Girard), but I can find no information for a Julie that would allow me to connect her to a Girard lineage. This is the only line I am missing for both sides of my family (96% French Canadian) back to before 1600.
(Another source, probably incorrect, names Philomene Joly as Pierre Jr's wife - a Philomene Dandonneau married Pierre Joly, and two Joly sibs married Rose and Alfred Frechette, but I find no support for Pierre Frechette (Jr) x Philomene Joly.)
Secondly, would you have more specific information to confirm the birthdate, location, and parents for Pierre Frechette (Jr)? I would like to be certain that he connects through Pierre (Sr) to Joseph and the rest of this Frechette line. Please correct any misinformation above.
