Your Pierre Ruel was married twice from waht I have in my records.

PIERRE RUEL (father JEAN BAPTISTE RUEL, mother Madeleine Guéret) He married (1) GENEVIÈVE COTARD. He married (2) MARIE LOUISE FRECHETTE1 11 Apr 1811 in Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada1, daughter of JOSEPH FRECHETTE and MADELEINE COUTURIER.

This Frechette line and your other Frechette line are not the same family. I can send you the ancestry for both if you like along with some background information on the families. Let me know at ahab@ix.netcom.com
