I am looking for Louise Frechette and her spouse Pierre Ruel, who lived in the Bagot County area in the mid 19th cneury. They are among my husband'a ancestors. All I have on them is that they had a daughter,
Edwige Ruel,
who married Charles Rodier on Nov 4, 1850 in St. Pie, Bagot.
I am quite conscious this is very little to go on, but I would be all the more grateful if anyone had any info on them, their parents, family and ancestors.
I too have a Marie-Louise Frechette in my own ancestry, but she married a Pierre Ballard dit Latour and was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste Frechet & Agathe Lahaise.
Wonder if the two families might not be linked at some point in the past. My Frechettes lived in the Berthier area, Quebec.
