Donna,
Afraid I don't have an electronic version of John Frazier's will. All I have is a photocopy of the original hand-written will that I received from the Augusta County Courthouse.
I am about 95% sure that Sam Frazier's wife, Ann was formerly Ann Allen. In Chalkey records online I saw a will filed by a Robert Allen who left a shilling each to his children, one of them Ann Frazier. The date of that will fits in with the approximate age of Ann at the time. Believe she and Sam both were born in 1765. Also, names of other family members in the will seems to link up with the names of Sam and Ann's children, including your ancestor Allen Frazier.
I've also learned that the land warrant that Sam used for the property was purchased from a Henry Banks for $50. Based on Virginia tax lists for 1790 and 1800 for Augusta County (also online)it appears that Sam may have decided to head west to that property after he received a very large tax bill in 1800.
Please email me directly Donna. I might have more info to share that I can't remember just now. It's so great to hear that there is somebody besides myself working on this!
Kathy
