My grandfather was William Frazer, noted for Frazer Tailors in county Limerick, Ireland. From memory, he was an orphan and after a fire destroyed all of the orphanage records we were never able to retrace his heritage although he always told us that he had brothers and sisters. There is some confusion as to whether he was an orphan in Manchester, England or in Ireland.
He married Bridgett O' Shea from Hospital Town, Co. Limerick and had the following children. Joseph, John (my dad), Michael, Chrissy, Philimena, Ethel, Kitty and William (Billy)and not necessarily in that order.
My Dad married Mary Bennis from Limerick City and had, David (me, now in California), John (living in ireland), William in Cambridge UK and Niall in Horshan, West Sussex.
I know my uncle Mikey (Michael) tried to find our family tree but I believe it died with the fire at the orphanage.
