I found this clipping amoung letter of my grandmother I cannot connect them to my family, so she must have been a friend. I though this might help someone. Jeanntte Montecello Florida MRS. WILLIE C. FRASER Services Held Monday For Mrs. Fraser Funeral services for Mrs. Willie C. Fraser, 69 were held Monday afternoon from the Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel. She died at her home here Saturday afternoon after a six months illness. Rev. Charles Houston pastor of the Ebenezer Baptist Church officiated at the services, assisted by Rev. Ellis Turner, pastor of First Baptist Church. Burial was in the Elizabeth Cemetery. Mrs. Fraser was born in Grapeland, Texas and moved to Jefferson County 35 yrs. ago, settling in the Elizabeth community, The familymoved to Monticello ten yrs. ago and mr. Fraser passed away two yrs. ago. Mrs. Fraser was a member of theAmerican Legion Auxiliary, Gold star Mothers, Order of Eastern Star and ElizabethBaptist Church. Survivors are three sons, H. E. Fraser of Tallahassee, W. N. Fraser, Lake Charles, La. and c. L. Fraser of the U. S. Army, Fayetteville, NC; three daughters, Mrs. K.c. Parker and Mrs. Jack Holmes, Perry and Mrs. James V. McDonnell of Monticello; 18 grandchildren and 12 gr.gr. grandchildren. Active pallbearsers were Jesse Lott, John Lott, Donald Davidson, Printice Pruitt, Arthur Chrutis and Clyo Strickland, honorary pallbearers were Dr. J. B. Brison,SR., Carl Davis, Henry Lindsey, I.W. Shepherd, V.T. Blackmon, Hugh Gay and Fred Wuerffel. Notify Administrator about this message?
