Your posting is interesting. The Frazer/Frazier family that I am connected to is originally from the Maxton/Laurinberg area of NC which borders on South Carolina. I looked at the 1850 Census to see if any of the children's names run in my line--I didn't see any (Alexander, John, Daniel, William, Henry are the common ones for the men, and Christian, Mary, Margaret, Sarah and Barbara/Barbary for the women). Destination of my family when they came to Alabama was Chambers County and Lowdnes County. There is a Michael Fraser that has a large website on Fraser's (warlock2000 I think is in his email address) whose family has Georgia connections from SC. You might try there, too.
