Marilyn,
I bet being able to visit the Columbus area and your ancestor's locations was very gratifying. I'm sure there is a connection somewhere, it just may be quite a bit further back. In terms of the Lincoln Co. thing, I had checked a family tree posting on the web and saw the reference to Columbus in Lincoln Co.--so wanted to alert you to this. I'm up in Michigan, so I'm constantly referring to maps to keep myself straight in these different states!
Will try and delve a little further in the John Frazier reference that you gave me.
