Hi, Bonnie,

I find only one Alexander in my info, but it is not the right generation. The offspring of Daniel Frazier and Margaret Dawson, m. before 1732, would have to have had an Alexander, but I have scant info on the siblings' offspring except for William (my ancestor) and Jeremiah. Therefore, I can't click into the connection.

Since I am from Georgia, I know the locations of the counties mentioned. In fact, I visited my 3rd cousin in Columbus and toured the old cemetery, Linwood, where many Frazers are buried; as well as the town, where one of the original Frazer houses and the building that housed the hardware store started by John Anderson Frazer, II (the first hardware store in Columbus) still stand. The little house is right next to the old home of the inventor of the Coca-Cola formula which has been turned into a museum. There may be a second house still standing that belonged to my g-grandfather, Lute Frazer, but I have to research land records, as the home was built in a new exclusive subdivision located out from town and did not have a street address, just a subdivision name.

Maybe your Alexander is descended from the Frazier who immigrated from Inverness and was perhaps kin to the John Bernard Frazier line.

Cousin Marilyn
