The family that you are probably referring to is the William Frazer family that settled near Lexington, Ky.William is the son of James Frazer and his wife, Betty Foster. They were married in Spotsylvania, Virginia around Feb. 7. 1755.They owned property, 323 acres around St. George's Parish, Spots. County.I researched the Spotsylvania Virginia Book of Records; Orange County Virginia Families, Vol 4, John Williams Tithables 1755.I have the copy of W.T.B. Frazer History that I posted written in 1874 and a copy of the will of James Frazer.
Under myresearch notes for William Frazer, son of James and Betty, who settled near Lexington, Ky. I have listed:
1781 Witness on will of Hugh Sanders
1798 Executor of James Frazer's will
1796 Admin. of John F. Will
1796 Guardian of John and Elizabeth Frazer's daughters
1788 Bought land from John Frazer
1796 Bought land from Crutcher of Ky.
This family settled near Lexington, Ky.
Children:
Robert
William
Warren
That is all the information I have at this point on this son of James and Betty Foster Frazer.I can go back to James Frazer' s father, William Frazer and his wife Francis A.Their son, James Frazer and his second wife, Lucy Smith is the line of my research. If anything here helps please let me know.Martha Daniel
