Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

"I was told by my father, Ramon Frausto Sr. who himself was born in Mexico city,
that his grandfather was of german jewish descent, and the original surname
was Fraustenberg, later changed to Frausto to sound spanish in mid 1800's.

From there the name remained the same, yet the offsprings were many and they
spread throughout Mexico, Baja California, Texas, Chicago, etc."

I found this post on a different site, contact me if you want me to send you the link. I haven't tried to get a hold of this person to see if we're related but I will when I learn more from my mom. Maybe we're related.
