We have much information on 8 siblings as well as 2 other families of 1st. cousins who emigrated from Muirtown, Kinmylies (Inverness)areas late 1700's to 1805.
Immigration- -
2 brothers (John & Simon) to Liberty County, Georgia
5 sisters(Margaret, Mary, Catharine, Isabelle and Anne)& their families to Pictou Co., Nova Scotia
1 brother (Alexander & wife Sarah Ferguson) with 7 children to Genesee County, New York State.
2 families of cousins (Simon & Elizabeth and John & Mary) also came to Genesee Co., NY State.
We have 2 letters from cousins (Fraser's, Ferguson's and McDonald's)who remained in the Muirtown and Inverness area.
Have you heard family stories of family members who left your area (late 1700's early 1800's) to come to America?
