Additional Information About The Civil War

The following Website is The Master Roster and Regimental History of the 3rd Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry Regiment. It lists all of the members of the companies of the 3rd Calvary.

Scroll down to Company L and you will find John Pfranzman listed along with a Henry Pfranzman. John, born in 1839, had a younger brother named Henry, born in 1846. That would make Henry 15 or 16 years old in 1861. I guess It's possible the two fought together. It might be worth another $ 20.00 to the National Archives to find out:

The following site is a place to search for Civil War soldiers. I found John listed only when I entered his name as John Fransman and his origin as Kentucky:
