I am seeking leads/info on Edmund Franz (b. Apr 1850 in Fritzlar, Germany, died 1884 in Brooklyn, NY), his brother Norbert Franz (b. after 1850 in Fritzlar, Germany, died May 1917 in NY). They emigrated to NY about 1865.

Edmund married Catherine Roessler (b. 1854 in Bavaria, Germany, immigrated 1870, died 1933 in Queens, NY) on 13 Jun 1874. After Edmund died, Catherine married Edmund's brother Norbert.

Children of Edmund and Catherine: Katherine, Edwina, Ludwig (Louis), Ottilda. Children of Norbert and Catherine: Lena, Josephine, Charles.

Ottilda Franz (b. Feb 1881 in Brooklyn, died 1959 in Port Jefferson, Suffolk, NY) married Leonard Birkel in 1907 in Jamaica, Queens, NY.
