I'm looking for information on the Franz' of Victoria County, Texas. Here's what I know:
1. CONRAD HEINRICH FRANZ(have also seen it spelled Coward and Conard)immigrated from ??? in about 1846. He shows up in Texas for the first time on the 1900 Census.
2.ELIZABETH BRACKEN and Conrad Franz married in Victoria County on April 29, 1872.
3.son, HENRY GOTTLIEB FRANZ married MARY MARGARETHA TRABER. Their children were AMELIA FRANZ LEOS, LUCILLE FRANZ MARAGGIA, JOHN HENRY FRANZ, EMMA FRANZ, ALFRED FRANZ.
4. son, FREDRICK C. FRANZ married ELSIE DINCANS. There children were THOMAS EARL FRANZ, LAURA FRANZ MIKUS, RUBY FRANZ BECKER, GLADYS FRANZ ZAESKE, LOUISE FRANZ MARTIN, FLOYD C. FRANZ.
5.daughter, SOPHIE FRANZ married CHARLES BILSTEIN
If anyone has any research or links to any of the above, I would be grateful and would LOVE to share what I have. I especially want to know more about Conrad H. Franz and his wife.
