I have been hoping to make a connection with the east coast Fransways (especially NY/NJ) and the Wisconsin/Quebec Fransways. There appear to be a very limited number of Fransways in the USA and especially on the east Coast. As far as I know, all of the Fransways were originally of French origen and were LeFrancois or Francois.

Does anyone in your family know if family members settled on the east coast? Perhaps they went directly from Quebec to the east or from France (possibly Normandy).

I've seen genealogy about the Fransways on the Web. They are people from your area of the USA. Have you seen it?

My direct Fransway ancestors were in either NY or NJ around the mid-1700's. Let me know if you know about any family history in this regard.
