Hi everyone!
On Mom's side of the family, I descend from John Peter Frank born about 1759(-1854) maybe in Pa .
He and probable son John Adam Frank (1798-1883) moved to Vaughan Tp York County Ontario, then Upper Canada about 1804.
John Peter married Jane Walker McLean in 1837..Had twins Julia Ann and Elizabeth Ann born 1840.
John Adam married Elizabeth Walker in 1822. She just might be the sister of the above Jane both born in Kingston Ontario. Jane, 1795 and Elizabeth 1804.
I am confident that Joseph Frank who married Amanda Rush in Vaughan was a son of John Adam Frank. Also Henry Frank who married Sarah Watson. Joseph and Amanda Franks moved to Dorchester Tp., Middlesex County, some time after the 1852 census enumeration.
John Adam's children included my GGM Amanda Louisa Frank.
I note that in the early records the surname was spelled "Frank" Later some official or maybe a census taker placed an "s" at the end making the name "Franks" .
