It seems a bit strange because in the 1920 census the only listing that have the names Nevada and Frances is with a Thomas M. Franks.
1930 Montgomery Co., AL
Nevada Franks-48-widowed, and her daughter Frances E. Franks age-15, are living with Nevada's sister Eugenia Hall.
Nevada's maiden name was Taylor.
I have no idea whether her death ceritificate would provide you with any more detail but:
