Not sure if I followed the correct line, however, there is an "Endrew P" Franklin, age 17,(b.7/1882 KY) in the household of James T.Franklin(b.7/1851 KY per 1900 census)and Molly E.(b.2/1858 MO)on the 1900 Grayson Co. census. It is definitely an "E" but the census taker could have made a mistake.
The James Thaddeus Franklin looks like he may have really been born about 7/1850 as one finds a James (Middle initial is not clear could be T/S)on the So. dist Hardin Co., KY census; parents are Daniel, age 23 b.KY, and Columba, age 24 b.KY.James T. married Mary E. Horn per KY marriage records(1852-1914) 8/20/1874 in Grayson co., KY.1900 Horntown, Grayson, KY census a Nancy R. Kelly age 62, b.2/1832 KY listed as Mother-in-law in his household.
James T. Franklin stated on the marriage record that he was born in Hardin, KY as were his parents. Mary was born Grayson per the marriage record as were her parents; however on the census she states she is born in MO.
The 1860 Dist 2, Hardin KY census has a James, age 10, with parents Daniel and Phoebe E., age 23.Daniel L. Franklin married Phoebe E. Setzer 8/13/1855 Hardin Co., KY.James states he was born in Hardin Co. on that record.Saying this to say you can trace Daniel, but Phoebe was not James T.'s mother.I could not locate a death record for Daniel or Columba, but did find one for a Sarah F. Franklin, daughter of Daniel & Columba Franklin, that died 8/23/1853 Hardin Co.James T. may have been the only surviving child of Daniel & Columba because the next child for Danile on the 1860 census was Charles who was born about 1856.
The dates fluctuate on the census, so it is hard to say just when anyone was born. There is a picture of a grave marker online on Ancestry.com for James T.(1850-1929) and Mary E.(1858-1950); this family file has her name as Mary E. Kelly. It is uncertain whether she was married before James T., or if her mother had married a Kelly after Mary was born.I could not locate Mary/Molly on a census under Horn/Kelly.Molly is a nickname for Mary and was used on census with James T.James T. and Mary E. are buried in the Liffleflock Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Big clifty, Grayson Co., KY
I did not have time to search farther on Daniel, but thought this might give you food for thought.Hope the Proctor soap matches for you somewhere along the line.Could be that was Columba's maiden name.Columba and Daniel would have married about 1849, and the KY marriage records started 1852, so I couldn't locate a record for them.Lots of luck.
