Interesting. He's bound to belong to one of those Franklin groups there. Have you considered DNA testing?There is a large group of Franklin's in the familytreedna.com test group-my line included. If you tie into mine or into Mark/Martin Franklin those lines have results already posted and you'll be able to tell that immediately. I'm still working to locate someone from the Josiah L. Franklin line for testing.I was able to add another generation to my own 20 year Franklin brick wall and now I know where in GA they came from! YEAH! I highly recommend it and from this online tree it looks like you have LOTS of Franklin males to pick from to participate--if only I could be so lucky with Josiah's line-they seem to have all petered out or just plain disappeared.If you are interested and want details/info, drop me an [email protected]
