Can you tell me where your Wilson Franklin was living when he died? The data I have from Leonnardo Andrea's research on the SC Franklins does not list a Wilson. I checked the SC census records for the years 1790, 1800, and 1810. Based on the birth dates for the children you listed here would be the results. A Thomas Frankin listed for Georgetown in 1790 fits the bill. He is listed with a household of one male over 16, two males under 16 and two females. The other Thomas Franklins (three in Chester and one in Edgefield)can be eliminated. Two had no boys under 16 and two had too many females. In the 1800 census there are three Thomas Franklins, two for Chester and one for Edgefield, but none fit a match for the number of children you have listed, either too many or too few. In 1810, there is one Thomas in Edgefield but the children do not match. There is a Minor Franklin listed for Richland. This is a mispelling for Jemina, the wife of the Thomas who died between 1800 and 1810 in Richland. (This family was evidently missed in 1800 census.) The children listed for her in 1810 agrees with what you have with the exception of an additional girl under 10 years of age. I note you have two daughters listed with the name Francis born in 1792. Is this a mistake?
