Could/Can anyone tell me as to the reason why George William Frankland b.1824 in Whitby, N.Yorkshire who married Elizabeth Hannah Wittaker b.1829 Chelmsford, Essex,would have moved from Whitby Yorkshire, to Southwark, South London ??
Can anyone also tell me how George William Frankland met Elizabeth Hannah Wittaker? Did He move South to London and then meet Elizabeth, or did they meet in Yorkshire somehow?
After moving from Yorkshire, their 2 sons (Frederick George & George William Frankland were born in Oxfordshire, and then they moved to Southwark, London, where George William and Elizabeth Hannah Frankland went on to have another 7 children.
I am a direct descendant to William George Frankland and as I am researching the 'Family Tree' would love to hear from anyone who could possibly throw any light on this, and ANYTHING Else to do with the FRANKLANDS of WHITBY, Yorkshire or indeed Southwark, London.
