A little more information about my FRANKISH roots.

William FRANKISH was b about 1853. in Hunmanby, Yorkshire. He was a master bootmaker and factor, lay preacher, and Homeopathic Physician. His wife Ann SLACK, b 1851, said to be born in Marple, Derbyshire on the 1901 census( Mellor on another source)
Children.
Sarah Ann FRANKISH B 1878 Costume machinist, born Gorton Lancs. Married Samuel POPE b Alvanley, Cheshire
Lillian FRANKISH b 1880 Southport, Lancs. Later married, and lived in Blackpool. Small hotel owner and China shop owner.
Thomas S. FRANKISH b 1882 Gorton Lancs, Textile Designer with Calico Printers Assoc. (and maybe also Tootal Broadhurst Lee?)
Joseph FRANKISH b 1887 Took over his fathers shoe business and factor. Business was on Barlow Rd., Manchester, its now a Chiropodist :-))
