Have only just found this forum so a belated reply to your posting.
I too am unable to find any link from the London family to Glos/Wilts, there is however a Huguenot connection but not directly - through marriage.
The information I have is as follows (much comes from the registers of the French Huguenot Hospital)
John Frankis m. Rebecca. Children: Elizabeth bap. 14 Aug 1748 Spitalfields Christ Church, Stepney; William bap. 1 Oct 1749 (same church). Elizabeth and William married 1 Apr 1771 same church brother and sister Michel and Marie Breton. Elizabeth had 7 children. William and Marie had 3 children all baptised at the French Huguenot church in Threadneedle Street (registers are in French):
Marguerite b. 17 May 1772, Marie b. 23 Oct 1774, Guillaume b. 12 Feb 1778.
William /Guillaume married Elizabeth Keys 19 May 1801 at St. Mary Whitechapel. They had 2 children: Eliza b. 13 Mar 1803, Maria b. 26 Feb 1805 at Gibraltar Walk Bethnal Green, William James b. 9. Aug 1807. William married Jane Bridges 16 Jan 1830 and had 2 children: Ellen Matilda b. 26 June 1830 and Jane Mason b. 3 Apr 1834.
I have a few more incidental details about some of these people if you are interested. The Huguenot connection is from the Bretons who were children of Rene Breton a native of Touraine.
