4 Eberhard Reiz von Breuberg 1239-1282/86 died without children and was succeeded by his brother Conrad II Reiz von Breuberg 1245-1258 who built Castle Frankenstein 1252
5 three children: Conrad I von Frankenstein 1266-1292 who, was ancestor of the surviving line; Ludwig 1268-1275 who died childless; and, Friedrich 1268-1292 who , only had a son and a grandson and then his line died out. Friedrich's son was (6) Engelhard I 1313-1326, and the grandson (7) Engelhard II lived 1327-1335.
6 the two sons of Conrad I were: Erkinger 1309-1321 and Conrad born 1321 who died childless.
7 the son of Erkinger was Conrad II 1321-1326
