von Frankensteins and Scheusslicher Lindworm?

Does anyone have complete information on the Barons von Frankenstein or Franckenstein of Castle Frankenstein and their coats of arms and family trees? Also about the legend of the Scheusslicher Lindworm? There was a permanent stone monument put up in the church showing Hans Georg von Frankenstein slaying a dragon in Germany as late as the 1500s? Could it have been an actual crocodilian that survived drowning from a subterranean river? The Nile river in Africa has an underground stream ten times larger than the one on the surface. Maybe it emerged from a spring in a cave in Germany?
Very interested in the coat-of-arms and in tracing the line all the way back to the Franks and Charlemagne. Thanks!
